One thing I picture for a lovely Valentine’s day is making a nice relaxing breakfast. Now, of course that usually doesn’t happen on the day exactly, because Valentine’s Day usually falls on a work day. This is still something you can make the night before and heat up and then just add the strawberry slices if you want your sweetie to have a heart filled breakfast. You can always make it the Sunday before in this year’s case. Here is what you need *

* Simple & Easy Recipe *

* FOR THE HEART SHAPE, YOU WILL NEED A HEART SHAPED COOKIE CUTTER *

1 1/4 C Whole Wheat/ Whole Grain Flour

2 packets of truvia (optional)

2 Tsp Baking Soda

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 C Milk

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

3 Tbsp Egg Whites

Mix all ingredients together

Use a healthy butter, my favorite is below and with a paper towel coat the bottom of the pan unless you have a non stick pan

Now make your pancakes! If you’re successful at it they will be light golden brown…mine let’s just say have a little character to them : )

Now place the cookie cutter on each pancake individually, and once the cookie cutter is in the pancake, to make it come out easier, rub the cookie cutter while inside the pancake around on a cutting board

For the strawberries on top, peel off the outer edges after removing the stems and washing them from the thick part down
